Asimov

it's in the ring of the word, the feeling of the name, the sound of the band - asimov 2000 - like the two rivers that keep flowing together in their hometown, four passionate musicians mingle their taste to create a sound. with power and emotion pieter, erik, lieven and berg let the songs spring from their guitars and drums. In search for a name they discover a russian author whose name titillates their senses. 'asimov' expresses the right feeling; the quintessence is juice and sensitivity. as time goes by, asimov is spotted and guided to the singles mentalistic moves (2003) and screaming sun (2004). They play at various belgian festivals (marktrock, suikerrock, alive festival), in clubs around the country and they go on tour in scotland. one year later the first album is released: untitled because asimov is the name, and the word breathes the music.
